Kevin Wooding trained with Elisabeth Walker, one of the first-generation teachers personally taught by F. M. Alexander. With over 25 years of teaching experience, he offers lessons in Oxford and in south-west London – including Richmond, Roehampton, and East Sheen.
He first encountered the Technique while training as a classical and jazz pianist, but took it up seriously in response to a potentially life-changing sports-related knee injury. To his surprise, after just one lesson he found himself playing the piano with greater focus – and more ease at the same time. It was a shift that hinted at deeper, unexpected possibilities within the Technique; that it could be surprising, and quietly transformative.
